Savory is so hot right now.

After years and years of being bombarded with sweet concoctions, consumers are now looking for savory delicacies with earthy and rich flavors.

Enter Sprig. Created by Kristi Marshall, owner of Herb-In-Fusion, Sprig is a line of savory herb jellies.

Inspired by growing, nurturing and preserving plants with a purpose, owner Kristi created a unique collection of artisan specialty products featuring herbs and plants.

Sprig savory herb jellies come in a wide variety of flavors including pepper jellies like Jalapeno Red Pepper Jelly, herb jellies like Raspberry Thyme Jelly, and wine jellies like Unoaked White Wine Jelly. The jelly I’m extra excited about? Passionfruit Chili & Spice Jelly. Mind. Blown.

You can pair savory jellies with many different types of foods: cheese, fruits, vegetables, desserts, meat, seafood, and dressings.

My favorite way to use savory jelly this summer was making Brie and radish and red pepper jelly grilled cheese sandwiches.

Ditch the sweet tooth and join the savory trend. To find Sprig’s savory jellies, look for them at farmer’s markets and events or find a store that carries them near you.
